"Online Meet Japan, Edu. Fam"
Japan offers a diverse and unique selection of world-class meeting venues and cultural experiences, with something new and exciting to discover on every visit. The MEET JAPAN program is a hosted buyers’ program for association representatives as well as core PCOs/meeting planners of both academic and industrial organizations that gives you an opportunity to discover the diversity of Japan’s convention cities.
This fiscal year, many of the prospective buyers may not be able to physically visit convention cities and venues on the study tour because of COVID-19. Therefore, we decided to help you prepare for your business recovery by offering our special “ONLINE Meet Japan, Edu. Fam” for the first time.
Meet Japan 2020 will be held in late January 2021, consisting of the following three parts:
1. Educational Seminar
2. Live stream “Online Fam. Trip” and
3. Online Japan Convention Trade Mart, which gives Hosted Buyers the opportunity to meet with potential partners from other cities.

Why Attend?
✔ World-renowned core PCO representatives talk on tips for holding international conferences/meetings in Japan.
✔ For those who complete the Meet Japan2020 programs (2 fam trips, and 5 1on1 meetings), you have priority to be invited for actual on-site hosted visits, once the conditions of your proposed conference is ready to take the next step.

| Participant Requirements |
Applicants must meet the following requirements: ✔ You are representing an international conference which has the possibility of bidding to convene in Japan/Asia in the near future. The candidate city from Japan has not yet been decided. ✔ Attendees must represent more than three countries including Japan. ✔ You will be attending two online Fam trips on Day 2 and Day 3 with live stream (45-60 minutes/each) ✔ Five one-on-one meeting each with 15-20 minute are compulsory during the period of 2-3 days. |

"Meet Japan" ‐ Hosted buyers program for international convention decision makers

The Japan Convention Bureau (JCB), a division of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), in cooperation with Japan's International Convention Cities, invites association executives and international meeting planners to come to Japan as our guests to participate in our hosted buyers program, Meet Japan.
Why Attend?
The "Meet Japan" - Hosted buyers program offers the opportunity to visit Japan’s beautiful regional cities, and to see their superb convention and tourist facilities which meet the criteria of your event. You will learn first-hand about the warm hospitality and unique charms of Japan’s diverse convention cities. JNTO acts as a liaison, matching the needs of your event to what each city and venue has to offer, and we are pleased to provide you with the opportunity to meet with your counterparts in Japan if needed. Meet Japan has been regarded as a highly satisfying program among past participants, and has resulted in the successful organization of many international conferences in the host cities.
