City: Kanazawa
The Hondanomori Hall, designed by architect Kurokawa Kisho, opened in May 1977 on the site of the Ishikawa prefecture Kenrokuen baseball field.
Initially opened as Ishikawa Kosei Nenkin Kaikan, it was sold to Hokuriku Electric Power Co., Ltd. in 2008. From October 2009, Hokuriku Electric Power Center Honori's Mori Hall started its operation.
The fan-shaped building and the amphitheater-like auditorium gives a sense of unity. The design is well-loved by various artists.
