MARINE WORLD uminonakamichi

With “Seas of Kyushu” as its theme, this aquarium recreates the aquatic ecosystems of Kyushu's prefectures, from the Genkai Sea to Kagoshima Bay. In spring 2024, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the museum's opening, the new facility Penguin Beach and Island Stage were built on Kaiju Island, allowing visitors to get even closer to the animals.
