Kumamoto

Kumamoto

Located in the center of Kyushu, Kumamoto City is blessed with history, culture, and nature. In recent years, with major overseas semiconductor manufacturers moving into the area and creating a concentration of related companies, Kumamoto is attracting attention as an industrial city. Kumamoto is also known as the "City of Water" and has an abundance of groundwater, with 100% of the city's tap water supplied by groundwater. The MICE facility KUMAMOTO-JO Hall opened at the end of 2019 in a complex that houses hotels, commercial facilities, a bus terminal, and other facilities. Its location within walking distance of the city center, including the city's symbol Kumamoto Castle and the downtown area, makes it very convenient to hold various MICE events here. We look forward to welcoming you to Kumamoto City.
