Experience a Shinto ritual at a whole-reserved shrine

Experience an ancient Japanese ceremony. During the 20-minute ceremony, you can watch traditional dancing and learn about ceremonial manners. After the ceremony, you can also take part in a ceremony called Kagami-wari outside (on the grounds of the shrine), in which a barrel of sake is broken open and shared with everyone. The sake has been dedicated to the gods before the ceremony, so the ritual of sharing it symbolizes receiving the power of the gods. As the entire grounds of the shrine will be reserved, you can spend your free time taking photos and purchasing amulets.
