Yamaguchi

Yamaguchi city, located at the center of Yamaguchi prefecture, was once called "Western Kyoto" for its refined culture and prosperity that began 600 years ago and still continues on today.
Yamaguchi Tourism & Convention Association is, from all angles, willing to help those who would like to hold a variety of events here in Yamaguchi City including conventions, academic conferences, exhibitions, athletic meets, and so on.
Last year, a convention hall with a capacity of 2,000 seats and a facility with meeting rooms of various sizes opened. It’s in a good location next to Shin-Yamaguchi station where the shinkansen “Nozomi” stops.
Famous historic sites and superior hot springs will also please you. We hope many of you are interested in visiting this historic city!
