Sojiji Temple in Tsurumi is the head temple of the Soto Zen sect and serves as a hub for spreading the teachings of Buddhism throughout Japan. The temple offers a range of experiences, including the Zen Overnight Experience, Sutra Transcription Gatherings, and seasonal ceremonies such as the 24 Solar Terms and Obon. Events can also be held in the grand hall on the fourth floor of Sanshokaku within the temple grounds. Visitors can enjoy shojin ryori (traditional Buddhist cuisine).
