"The Tokugawa Art Museum" is a collection of the many priceless art objects, furnishings, and heirlooms owned by the Owari Branch of the Tokugawa Clan, particularly items of Tokugawa Ieyasu himself. The collection includes 11,000 pieces, the only one of its kind in Japan to bring together so many pieces owned by a Daimyo (feudal lord) clan, making it a rare chance to see the lifestyle and culture of these elite families.
