KOBE GEIHINKAN Former Guest House was built as a state guest house for honored guests from both home and abroad. It is also designated as an Important Cultural Property and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019. The luxurious venue along with a Japanese-style garden and a Japanese teahouse preserves a feel from the Taisho period. The interior is a seamless union of late 19th century Vienna Secession, Art Nouveau, and understated Japanese design, creating a beauty seen nowhere else.
