The Hillside Kobe, located on the slopes of Mt. Rokko, was designed by the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Tadao Ando. It is a glass, metal, and concrete building that was designed to filter natural light into the interior spaces. A big tree is planted in the middle of the garden and can be seen through the glass window. Ando’s minimalist approach, sensitivity to light, incorporation of natural elements, and his unparalleled work with concrete shine everywhere in this venue. The entire venue is available to be rented out.
