This activity involves making kakushi-zushi (hidden sushi), a traditional dish born from the ingenuity of people during times of frugality. Upon request, you can also try making harezushi, a variation that incorporates a variety of seasonal ingredients from Okayama Prefecture.

The maneki-neko is a cat figurine with one paw raised, symbolizing good luck and the ability to attract customers and wealth. The museum showcases around 800 lucky cats collected from all over Japan. You can also paint your own lucky cat, making it a perfect souvenir for yourself.
