Fukui

The city of Fukui is located in central Fukui Prefecture and offers easy access to all of Japan. The city’s transportation hub, JR Fukui Station, is situated in the middle of a compact cluster of convention facilities and hotels. Fukui provides event organizers with creative options—public facilities can be used to keep venue costs low, and multiple facilities can be combined to host large-scale conventions.
The ruins of Fukui Castle, the Yokokan garden reminiscent of Edo-period (1603-1868) Japan, the famed and beloved line of cherry trees at Asuwagawa Park along the Asuwagawa River, and many more tourist attractions are within walking distance from convention venues, putting Fukui’s rich blend of historical, cultural and natural resources in close range to visitors.
