Akita City is a core city with a population of 300,000. It is located on the Sea of Japan side in the northern Tohoku region and is surrounded by nature. The city prospered as a castle town of the Akita Clan. The city’s efforts on both technical and organizational fronts have earned high praise nationally and internationally, including designation by the Ministry of Transportation in December 1994 as an “International Meeting Tourism City.” With excellent sake, delicious food and beautiful seasonal scenery, the warm hospitality of Akita beauties beckons as the stage for your next convention. The members of ACVB will pour their hearts into acting as your local staff.
