World-famous Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi was the mastermind behind this park, which is considered by many to be one gigantic work of sculpture.
Visitors can enjoy this unique environment while taking in the nature of Sapporo, including cherry blossoms in springtime and riverfront Moere Beach in summer.
The iconic symbol of the park is the Glass Pyramid HIDAMARI, which contains a gallery and a popular restaurant. It is one of the most special venues in Sapporo, and is often booked for various events.
The Glass Pyramid's restaurant, L'enfant qui reve, is owned by a Three Michelin star chef from Hokkaido, and features French cuisine highlighted by the finest local ingredients. (Option for dinner: from 3,680 yen)
