1. Financial Assistance for MICE
•Subsidy Program
Up to 10 million yen for a portion of event expenses for international conferences that satisfy certain requirements and are held within Nagoya city limits.
•Loan Program
Interest-free loans of up to 5 million yen, provided to organizers 3 years in advance of conventions to be held within Nagoya city limits to serve as funds for preparation to support the smooth operation of the conventions.
• Subsidies for large-scale incentive tours, etc.
• Subsidies for promoting training/observation travel, etc.

• Reception for preliminary visits to Nagoya
• Providing resources for creating written bids
NCVB provides information about Nagoya and other resources required to create written bids for hosting events in Nagoya. NCVB also arranges letters of invitation bearing the names of the mayor of Nagoya and the director of NCVB.
• Providing presentation tools
NCVB provides pamphlets, DVDs (Languages: English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Korean), image data for PR and other resources for introducing Nagoya.
For event preparation
• Introducing businesses involved with MICE
NCVB introduces event operators, catering companies, and other companies involved in exhibitions and other events.
• Introducing plans for excursions, receptions, etc.
• Support for PR activities
NCVB posts notifications on its website and distributes flyers for open lectures and other events to relevant organizations in Nagoya.
During events
• Arranging Nagoya convention volunteers
In response to applications from event organizers, NCVB arranges volunteers to provide help for registration, event information and other tasks.
• Arranging tour guide interpreters
NCVB arranges tour guide interpreters to provide tourism information on bus tour excursions to foreign participants of international conferences.
• Providing tourism/transportation information
NCVB provides tourism information pamphlets (Languages: English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai) and discount tickets to major tourism and cultural facilities. NCVB also sets up information booths at event venues, introduces tourism facilities in the city, and provides information about transportation, Nagoya cuisine and souvenirs, and more.

    NCVB recommends sightseeing courses that include industrial tourism facilities such as the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and Noritake Garden as well as nearby sights.
  • Hands-on cultural experiences
    Ask NCVB about kimono dressing, flower arrangement, Japanese tea ceremony, sushi making and other quintessentially Japanese hands-on experiences.
  • Attractions
    NCVB recommends and introduces performances by the Nagoya Omotenashi Warlord Squad, the Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo Ninja Squad, the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Nagoya geigi (geisha), performances of traditional Japanese music and Japanese taiko drums, serving matcha green tea, setting up local sake tasting booths, demonstrations of karakuri puppets and more.
