2025.10.29 Chiba Selected to Host the 27th International Congress on Acoustics (ICA2031)!
We are delighted to announce that Chiba, Japan, has been selected as the host city for the 27th International Congress on Acoustics (ICA2031).
The successful bid was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Chiba Prefecture, Chiba City, Chiba Convention Bureau and the International Center, and Makuhari Messe, all of whom came together to support The Acoustical Society of Japan as part of the unified “Team Japan” initiative.
Japan is honored to host this prestigious event for the third time. It was last held in Kyoto in 2004, and prior to that, the first edition to be held in Japan was in Tokyo in 1968.
We look forward to welcoming members of the global acoustics research community to Chiba in 2031.
