2019.08.27 SMiRT27 comes to Yokohama in 2023! (*Postponed to March 2024)

The Structural Mechanics in Reactor Technology 27 (SMiRT 27) has been decided to take place in the port city of Yokohama. The bidding took place this month at the 25th edition of SMiRT congress, in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. Japan Conference Ambassador Takada Tsuyoshi was in charge of presenting the proposal, backed by Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Japan Convention Bureau.

SMiRT is an International conference that covers a wide range of topics regarding the development and regulation of mold reactors, and within its history of about 50 years, this will be the second time the event comes to Japan, after the 1991 Tokyo edition. About 600 participants from around 30 countries are expected to gather in Yokohama in 2023*.
