Japan looks forward to hosting large-scale Thai incentive group

This September, a 2,000 participant delegation from a Thai insurance company will come to experience the delights of Yokohama.

The groups visit is the result of detailed consultation with the JNTO, who offered advice on potential destinations in Japan, as well as ideas for activities, dining venues and other uniquely "Japanese" experiences. The group will spend 5 days and 4 nights in Japan, during which they will split into smaller groups to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of Mt. Fuji in the Hakone area, visit the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama, and participate in various other activities with a distinctly Japanese flair. Their nights will be spent sampling Japanese cuisine at its finest at "Tycoon" - an oriental seafood restaurant located in the port area of Yokohama, and at PACIFIICO Yokohama, where there is a gala event for all 2,000 guests.

Beginning this fall, JNTO is holding a series of interactive seminars around the world to show organizers exactly why Japan is such a special incentive destination. The dates are as follows:

October 29 Chicago
October 30 Minneapolis
TBC Washington D.C.
October 10 Singapore
November 10 Beijing
November 12 Shanghai
November 14 Guangzhou
TBC Seoul

The new 'Visit Japan Channel' on YouTube - Showing the charms of Japan over the web

Having up until now promoted Japan using documents and images on their website, JNTO is very excited at the opportunity to present Japan's beauty through video on demand.

The site, which will be continuously updated with new and exciting videos, currently includes films highlighting "Cool Japan" as well as the natural beauty of Hokkaido - host of the 2008 G8 Summit.

The Visit Japan Channel is an excellent resource for planners of incentive programs or international conferences. The videos available make for an effective presentation tool when presenting Japan to clients or decision committees.

If you're planning to visit Japan soon, why not virtually visit first through YouTube?
