New Airline Routes Launching

Japan's two international carriers, Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have recently launched new routes. JAL is now flying nonstop to Boston and San Diego in the US from Narita, and is also due to launch nonstop service from Narita Airport to Helsinki on July 1, 2013. ANA has recently begun services from Narita to San Jose and Seattle in the US. Other carriers have also started running new routes to Japan: KLM began flying a direct Amsterdam to Fukuoka route in April, and Emirates began flying a route from Dubai to Tokyo's Haneda Airport on beginning June 3.
