Takaoka Traditional Craft Experience
Nousaku is a metal casting manufacturer that continues to innovate and create a diverse range of products to meet the needs of the times while also preserving the 400-year traditions of the designated National Traditional Craft of Takaoka copperware. Here, you can take a tour of the actual work sites of their craftsmen, complete with explanations of the work they do, and you can also try the actual molding process yourself.
There is also a cafe and shop on-site, making it an ideal choice for groups.
You can participate in a guided workshop tour to see craftsmen's handwork up close and experience making a tin cup or tray using traditional techniques.
